If you’ve ever used an SyncML service such as Mobical or the recently opened Sync on Ovi service, you’ll know that it’s a manual task to sync as there is no way to set a time or schedule for it to be completed. Thanks to the fine folks running behind the Bergamot Project (http://code.google.com/p/bergamot/) it is now possible.
Recently added is an application called Swim as allows you to set a timer for syncing to the servers stored in the Sync settings. This is a nice addition and hopefully it works as advertised. There seems to always be something left out by Nokia – but thanks to the great S60 platform it can be rectified by the community.
